Richard Davie

Richard is a director of International Autograph Auctions Ltd (IAA) and has been involved in all aspects of the autograph field since the early 80’s. Recognized as one of Europe’s leading experts in determining authenticity he has specialized in the auctioneering aspect of the business for nearly two decades. Richard is responsible for compiling catalogues and takes to the rostrum on auction days.

Melanie Beaven

Melanie has worked for IAA for the past two years, at the Nottingham office, as a part time Personal Assistant to Richard.

Ian Sayer

Ian has been involved in various aspects of autograph collecting since 1978. An internationally noted military historian and bestselling author he is generally acknowledged as one of the world’s leading experts on World War II and Third Reich autographs. Passing his extensive personal collection to his family in the late 1990’s he now acts as curator of that archive and as a part time consultant to IAA. In addition he also assists and advises various institutions and individuals regarding their manuscript collections. Most recently, his contribution to leading British military historian Andrew Robert’s latest book, the best selling ‘Storm of War’ has seen Ian’s activities featured in a full length front page article in the Financial Times.

Lana Sayer

Lana is an ’all-rounder’ who keeps the website content up to date and carries out various other admin duties including the processing of commission and telephone bids. On auction days Lana is the main internet bidding operator. She is also responsible for various post sale activities

Lilly Sayer

Lilly is one of the ‘back room girls’ who looks after various aspects of the company’s administration. However you will always see or hear her at every auction where she acts on behalf of telephone bidders and as a relief internet bidding operator.

Drew Sayer

Drew has been involved in many aspects of website design and maintenance. He is now responsible for not only ensuring that the IAA website is both client friendly and as technically innovative as possible but also with the site’s general maintenance. One of Drew’s jobs is to ensure that each catalogue is uploaded and displayed on the website as soon as printed copies are available for posting.

Jamie Sayer

Jamie helps out (studies permitting) with various phases in the sorting processes which are inherent in the large collections which IAA are privileged to auction from time to time. In addition he performs various duties on auction days including acting on behalf of telephone bidders.

Danielle Fraser

Danielle has recently joined us from an associate company. At IAA she is responsible for processing incoming consignments and catalogue design. She also assists Lana in post auction activities.
