GRACE W. G.: (1848-1915) English Cricketer. A.N.S., W. G. Grace, on one side of a correspondence card, n.p. (Sydenham), n.d. (26th July 1909), to R. E. Roberts. Grace thanks his correspondent for his kind letter and congratulations on the 18th. VG

Grace had celebrated his birthday on 18th July.

FANGIO JUAN MANUEL: (1911-1995) Argentinian Motor Racing Driver, Formula One World Champion 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956 & 1957. Vintage signed postcard photograph showing Fangio standing in a jubilant three quarter length pose in the cockpit of his Mercedes Benz racing car. Wearing his racing helmet and goggles, the champion waves one hand. Signed ('J M Fangio') in bold dark fountain pen ink with his name alone across a light area of the image. About EX

PELE: (1940- ) Brazilian Footballer. Vintage signed and inscribed postcard photograph of the talented footballer in a head and shoulders pose wearing a casual white shirt and drinking a small cup of coffee. Signed in bold black ink across a light area of the image with his full vintage signature and dated 29th December 1966 in his hand. VG

Pele had participated in the 1966 World Cup in England, becoming the first player ever to score in three World Cups.

BERNHARDT SARAH: (1844-1923) French Actress. A very fine signed and inscribed cabinet photograph depicting The Divine Sarah seated in a full length pose wearing a long, flowing coat and head scarf. The actress calmly looks directly towards the camera. Photograph by W & D Downey of London. Signed in bold, dark fountain pen ink across the image and dated 1881 in her hand. About EX

KELLY GRACE: (1929-1982) American Actress, Academy Award winner. Later Princess of Monaco. Vintage signed and inscribed 7 x 9 photograph, an appealing image of the beautiful actress in a head and shoulders pose wearing a plain white blouse. Kelly has a sparkle in her eyes as she looks directly towards the camera with a warm smile. Signed in bold, black fountain pen ink across a light area of the image with a vintage signature, 'To Douglas, with best wishes - Grace Kelly'. Some slight creasing to the top right corner, otherwise VG

LUGOSI BELA: (1882-1956) Hungarian Actor, famous for his portrayal of Count Dracula. A fine, early vintage signed postcard photograph of the young Lugosi standing in a three quarter length pose. The actor is elegantly dressed in a black cape and top hat and with a scarf around his neck. He holds a monocle in one hand and has a cigarette in his mouth as he looks directly towards the camera. Photograph by Angelo of Budapest. Signed ('Lugosi Bela') in bold black fountain pen ink across a light area of the background, the image also featuring a facsimile signature. Rare in this form. This exceptional image of Lugosi dates from around 1917 when he made his first screen appearance. He continued to make twelve films in Hungary between 1917-18.

MONROE MARILYN: (1926-1962) American Actress and Sex Symbol. Fine blue ink signature ('Marilyn Monroe Miller') with her married name on a white slip of paper. One extremely small light stain appears close to the signature, otherwise VG

PRESLEY ELVIS: (1935-1977) American Rock 'n' Roll Singer. An excellent, early vintage signed 8 x 10 photograph depicting the iconic dark haired singer in a head and shoulders pose wearing a dark suit and tie. Presley has a typical expression on his face as he looks towards the camera. This publicity image dates from when the teenage star was signed to Sun Records between 1953-55. Signed ('Yours Elvis Presley') in blue fountain pen ink with an early signature across a light area of the background. Rare in this form. Neatly mounted and with a few extremely light surface marks. About VG
