WILLIAM OF WALES: (1982- ) Son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, second in line of succession to the throne. Extremely rare, early A.L.S., William, one page, 8vo, Kensington [Palace], n.d. ('Monday 25th', most likely June 1990), to Steve [Davies], on commercially printed Thank You stationery featuring a colour illustration of a bear writing a letter at the head. In a young, confident hand the Prince writes, in full, 'Thank you for the James Bond video it is brilliant. Thank you. See you soon. With love from William'. Accompanied by the original envelope addressed in an unidentified hand. EX
